Job Summary
Deliver preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health through 60-minute recare and 90-minute new patient appointments. Utilize clinical tools including Velscope, iTero, and electronic medical record systems while documenting medical history and performing patient screenings. Maintain a bi-weekly or hourly schedule with the option for daily pay, adhering to full-time minimums of 30 hours to access UnitedHealthcare PPO health care, 401k, and paid holidays. Join a 15-person team supported by Heartland Dental's extensive network of mentors and clinical resources.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Missouri
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- a tuberculosis (TB) test
