Job Summary
Screen patients for check-ups, administer prophylactic treatment including scaling and polishing, and use X-rays as needed. Review patient history and chart existing restorations while educating patients on oral hygiene techniques. Build strong relationships to ensure a comfortable experience and support the dentist with procedures. Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control training with a minimum of two years of clinical experience. Required Qualifications
- Active State of Virginia Dental Hygienist license
- Minimum 2 or more years of RDH clinical experience
- Knowledgeable about perio health
- Comfortable with patient education
- Experience with dental practice software
- Strong communication skills
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach
- Current BLS/CPR certifications
- Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training
