Job Summary
Conduct daily dental hygiene procedures, including patient screening, medical history documentation, and preventative maintenance care. Utilize diagnostic tools such as Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and electronic medical record systems while adhering to clinical needs as required by the office. Perform essential duties involving prolonged periods of sitting and standing, with the ability to lift up to 45 pounds. Maintain a tuberculosis test status as part of the pre-employment process and attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically. Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in FL
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry
- Excellent working knowledge of dental hygiene procedures
- Excellent working knowledge of dental patient screening
- Excellent working knowledge of medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- 1 Year minimum experience
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
