Dental Hygienist

Conduct comprehensive oral prophylaxis and direct patient care under the Lead Dentist's direction. Document periodontal disease severity via x-rays and probing, maintaining the Electronic Digital Record with diagnoses, allergies, and informed consents before patient dismissal. Perform manual or ultrasonic scaling, provide home care instructions, and establish preventive programs including group educational activities and a recall system. Monitor staff adherence to OSHA guidelines and train hygiene students. Maintain dental equipment and instruments for optimal use. Perform other duties within the scope of training as required.
