Job Summary
Provide oral hygiene services including thorough prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and sealant applications while administering local anesthetics as permitted. Accurately chart patient dental history, update periodontal health records, and manage patient files in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist the dentist with treatment procedures and offer counseling on oral hygiene techniques and nutrition. Work part-time Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 9am to 5pm, partnering with the clinical team to build robust recall programs. You will collaborate with front office staff to schedule appointments and maximize time with each patient.
Required Qualifications
- A degree or certificate in hygiene from an accredited program
- valid state license
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Ability to manage time efficiently
- Excellent verbal skills to communicate professionally with patients and staff
