Job Summary
Conduct thorough prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and sealant applications while administering local anesthetics as permitted. Accurately chart patient dental histories, update periodontal health records, and manage files in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide oral hygiene education, nutrition counseling, and assist with treatment as directed by the dentist. Administer local anesthetics, if allowed by dental practice act. Work Saturdays only with a focus on building positive patient relationships and maximizing appointment time.
Required Qualifications
- A degree or certificate in hygiene from an accredited program
- A valid state license
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Ability to manage time efficiently
- Excellent verbal skills to communicate professionally with patients and staff
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to travel between locations
