Job Summary
Conduct thorough prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and sealant applications while administering local anesthetics as permitted. Accurately chart patient dental histories, update periodontal health records, and maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation. Provide oral hygiene education and counseling on nutrition to patients, and assist the dentist with directed treatment needs. Partner with clinical staff to build robust recall programs and manage appointment scheduling to maximize patient time. Requires a valid state license, CPR/BLS certification, and ability to travel between locations.
