Job Summary
Conduct daily patient care and preventative maintenance as a clinical provider and advocate. Deliver education and care to patients while utilizing Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and electronic medical record systems. Work 3-4 days a week in a secure, collaborative 13-person team supported by a practice manager and extensive mentorship resources. Maintain CPR certification and perform essential duties including prolonged sitting/standing and lifting up to 45 pounds. Access optional DailyPay for faster pay and participate in virtual or in-person training to enhance clinical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Texas
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry
- Excellent working knowledge of dental hygiene procedures
- Excellent working knowledge of dental patient screening
- Excellent working knowledge of medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
