Job Summary
Dental Hygienist needed to join our growing dental practice. Responsibilities include cleaning teeth with dental instruments, reviewing patient medical history, examining gums for signs of disease, recording dental conditions for diagnosis, maintaining dental equipment and x-ray machines, promoting preventative care, applying fluoride, and collaborating with dentists and dental assistants to maintain a comprehensive hygiene program.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree from an accredited hygiene program.
- State hygiene license.
- Current CPR certificate.
- Ability to administer local anesthetic agents.
- Able to use an x-ray machine.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Comfortable using computers for a variety of tasks.
