Job Summary
Deliver patient-centered care by educating patients on oral health, conducting screenings, and performing preventative maintenance without feeling rushed. Collaborate with doctors through regularly scheduled meetings to align on patient care and share clinical insights. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools such as Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and electronic medical record systems to ensure high-quality service. Maintain a safe environment by completing required TB testing and adhering to physical demands including prolonged standing and lifting up to 45 pounds. Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Florida
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry
- Dental hygiene procedures
- Dental patient screening
- Medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
