Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including patient screening, medical history documentation, and preventative maintenance care. Utilize diagnostic tools such as Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and electronic medical record systems to deliver high-quality clinical services. Maintain patient records and adhere to clinical protocols as required by the office. Complete mandatory tuberculosis testing prior to employment and attend periodic virtual or in-person training sessions. Perform essential duties involving prolonged periods of sitting and standing, as well as lifting and carrying up to 45 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in [INSERT STATE OF OFFICE]
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
