Job Summary
Conduct patient screenings, medical history documentation, and preventative care maintenance using Dentrix and electronic medical record systems. Perform 60-minute recall and 90-minute new patient appointments while utilizing Arestin, iTero, and Velscope technology. Maintain clinical autonomy within a 3-doctor practice supported by Heartland Dental's network of experts and on-site mentors. Complete virtual or in-person training sessions and TB testing as required for all new hires. Full-time roles offer bi-weekly pay with daily pay opt-in, quarterly bonuses, and 30-hour minimum for benefits including UnitedHealthcare PPO, 401k, and paid holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Missouri
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry
- Dental hygiene procedures
- Dental patient screening
- Medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test

- Experience using digital scanner
- Experience using digital x-rays
- Experience using electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
