Job Summary
Conduct dental hygiene procedures including 60-minute recare and 90-minute new patient appointments while utilizing Dentrix for electronic medical record documentation. Perform patient screening, medical history documentation, and preventative maintenance using tools such as Velscope, iTero, and digital scanners. Participate in virtual or in-person training sessions and complete required tuberculosis testing prior to employment. Work flexible schedules including Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 7am-5pm or Friday 7am-2pm, with bi-weekly or hourly pay options and access to daily pay. Join a collaborative 12-person team supported by Heartland Dental resources, mentorship, and continuing education opportunities to enhance clinical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Missouri
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test

- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
