Dental Hygienist

Dental Hygienist needed for a temporary part-time position at Post Falls Perio and Implants, a periodontal specialty practice. Responsibilities include performing thorough dental cleanings (scaling, polishing, root planing as needed), taking and developing dental radiographs, conducting oral health assessments, educating patients on home care, preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, assisting the dentist during exams, documenting care in the dental record, monitoring supplies, and ensuring HIPAA/OSHA compliance. Requires a valid Dental Hygiene license and an accredited Associate degree in Dental Hygiene; strong communication, gentle chairside manner, proficiency with dental software/digital charting, and ability to work independently within a team.
