Job Summary
Deliver exceptional oral care and preventative maintenance to patients as a full-time Dental Hygienist, utilizing clinical skills for screening, medical history documentation, and overall dental health maintenance. Provide education and care while adhering to essential duties that may include prolonged periods of sitting and standing, lifting up to 45 pounds, and attending periodic virtual or in-person training sessions. Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in South Carolina
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry
- Excellent working knowledge of dental hygiene procedures
- Excellent working knowledge of dental patient screening
- Excellent working knowledge of medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test

- Experience using Diagnodent
- Experience using digital scanner
- Experience using digital x-rays
- Experience using electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
