Job Summary
Provide oral hygiene services including thorough prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and sealant applications while accurately charting patient dental history and periodontal health. Administer local anesthetics as permitted by the dental practice act and assist the dentist with directed tasks. Counsel patients on oral hygiene techniques and nutrition impacts, maintaining secure records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Required Qualifications
- A degree or certificate in hygiene from an accredited program
- A valid state license
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Ability to manage time efficiently
- Excellent verbal skills to communicate professionally with patients and staff
