Dental Hygienist

Provide oral hygiene services including thorough prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, polish restorations, and application of cavity preventative agents such as fluorides and sealants. Accurately chart a review of patient dental history, update periodontal health records, and handle patient records securely in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Administer local anesthetics as allowed by the dental practice act and assist the dentist with treatment procedures. Partner with the clinical team to build a robust recall program and offer patient counseling on oral hygiene techniques and nutrition. Work with front office staff to control your schedule and maximize time with each patient.
