Job Summary
Full-time Dental Hygienist needed in Hartford, CT within Care Dental Center (Dental Associates of Connecticut). Responsibilities include performing dental hygiene services (prophylaxis, scaling/root planing, fluoride/sealants), oral cancer screening, material selection for hygiene visits, patient education, documenting vital signs and histories, sterilization, and taking X-rays as recommended by the ADA. Requires an Associate’s degree in dental hygiene and CT RDH licensure; flexible shifts with current office hours. Ideal candidates have strong work ethic, teamwork, and good communication skills; recent graduates welcome. Benefits include 401(k) with matching, health insurance, PTO, and other benefits; Dentrix Ascend software experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Valid license to practice in Connecticut (Registered Dental Hygienist, RDH)
- Available to work within current office hours
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess a professional and positive attitude
- Dentrix Ascend software experience
