Dental Hygienist

Assess dental condition and needs of patients using screening procedures, medical history reviews, dental charting, and vital signs. Deliver direct patient care by performing routine treatments including cleaning, polishing, x-rays, sealant application, and fluoride treatments. Develop individualized dental care plans, conduct patient education, and manage discharge planning under dentist supervision. Requires accredited dental hygiene degree, active Rhode Island licensure, and local anesthesia license. Minimum one year community ambulatory dental clinic experience preferred.
