Job Summary
Provide comprehensive hygiene care including cleanings, scaling, root planing, fluoride treatments, and oral cancer screenings. Educate patients on oral health, prevention, and long-term care while capturing and interpreting digital x-rays. Collaborate with the dentist to identify periodontal and restorative needs, maintain accurate records, and ensure OSHA/HIPAA compliance. Create a comfortable, positive experience for every patient in our modern, patient-centered environment. Part-time Wednesday-Friday schedule at Port Jefferson with optional full-time expansion to nearby locations. Starting pay of $48/hour plus monthly incentives.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher from an ADA-accredited dental hygiene program
- Active New York State dental hygiene license
- CPR certification
