Dental Hygienist Part-Time

Job Summary
Assess oral health needs, perform cleanings, and place sealants or fluoride while screening patients for oral cancer, blood pressure issues, and head/neck abnormalities. Collaborate with dentists to refer patients with cavities or suspicious growths, take radiographs, and educate individuals on nutrition, flossing, and disease prevention. Maintain accurate case histories, health examination reports, and electronic records in compliance with Joint Commission standards and insurance regulations. Drive between clinic locations as needed to serve the community across multiple sites.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree (A.A.) from an accredited Dental Hygienist program
- minimum of six (6) months experience as a Hygienist
- Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in the State of Maryland
- Certified in Radiology through an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR)
- ACLS or Advanced Life Support within 12 months of employment, if appropriate
- Ability to cope with stress
- Ability to lift or catch patient weighing more than 50 pounds in the event of emergency
- Ability to read and interpret written or verbal documents and instructions
- Ability to speak effectively to patients, employees and/or stakeholders of the organization
- Must be able to drive between Greater Baden Medical Services, Inc. locations
