Dental Hygienist Part-Time

Job Summary
Conduct preventive and periodontal dental hygiene services, including patient screenings, oral cancer evaluations, blood pressure checks, and dental charting. Perform cleanings, place sealants, apply fluoride, and take radiographs while educating patients on oral hygiene strategies and nutrition. Collaborate with the dental team to refer patients with abnormalities and oversee maintenance of case histories and health examination reports. Comply with Joint Commission standards, perform timely Electronic Health Record documentation, and drive between Greater Baden Medical Services locations. Requires current Maryland licensure, a six-month experience minimum, and bilingual Spanish is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree (A.A.) from an accredited Dental Hygienist program
- minimum of six (6) months experience as a Hygienist
- Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in the State of Maryland
- Certified in Radiology through an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR)
- ACLS or Advanced Life Support within 12 months of employment, if appropriate
- Ability to cope with stress
- Ability to lift or catch patient weighing more than 50 pounds in the event of emergency
- Ability to read and interpret written or verbal documents and instructions
- Ability to speak effectively to patients, employees and/or stakeholders of the organization
- Must be able to drive between Greater Baden Medical Services, Inc. locations
