Dental Hygienist (Part-time)

Job Summary
Demonstrate commitment to customer service standards by providing health education, assessing dental conditions, and delivering current hygiene care to CVTC Dental Clinic patients. Take and record vital signs, review medical histories, and collaborate with staff to coordinate scheduling and optimize communication. Monitor inventory control, maintain equipment, and inform patients of office policies and procedures. Startup clinic in the morning and shut down at night while working independently and collaboratively with students in an educational setting. Maintain flexibility with scheduling and operations, adhering to all safety requirements including OSHA and infection control training.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
- Minimum of one year of recent clinical experience as a dental hygienist
- Current license to practice dental hygiene in the State of Wisconsin
- Current CPR certification
- Local anesthetic certification or licensure
- Possess and maintain working knowledge of Wisconsin Medical Assistance and be able to complete Medical Assistance paperwork for billing
- Current knowledge of periodontal classifications
- Ability to adhere to all safety requirements; OSHA, Blood Borne Pathogen, and current infection control training
- Ability to model integrity through self-awareness, personal accountability, ethical behavior, quality standards, and sustainable practices
- Ability to think critically by applying problem solving practices, acquiring relevant information, using technology and other resources appropriately, and evaluating alternatives

- Intermediate knowledge of and skills with technology including software programs for communication, data collection, and decision making including, but not limited to, Office 365 Suite
- Maintain flexibility with scheduling and operations
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Patterson Eaglesoft dental software system
- Bilingual in Hmong or Spanish
