Job Summary
Registered Dental Hygienist, Outreach at NorthLakes Community Clinic delivers patient-centered dental hygiene care to support optimal oral health within the community. Responsibilities include preparing patients for treatment, performing calculus removal and cleaning, examining gums for periodontal issues, applying fluoride varnish and sealants, taking digital dental X-rays, charting decay and disease for dentist diagnosis, administering local anesthesia, and adhering to PPE/infection control protocols. Requires knowledge of Wisconsin RDH licensure scope, ethics, confidentiality, OSHA/Bloodborne Pathogens, CDC guidelines, sterilization and disinfection procedures, insurance guidelines, and effective communication with varied patients. Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent
- Current Wisconsin RDH Licensure
- Knowledge of Scope of Practice per Wisconsin Dental Hygiene Licensure
- Electronic Dental Record software familiarity (preferred)
