Job Summary
Dental Hygienist responsible for the direct provision of oral hygiene and preventive/therapeutic services to dental patients. Duties include assessing periodontal health, performing prophylaxis and scaling/root planing, sealant and fluoride applications, taking dental x-rays under a dentist's supervision, documenting patient data, educating patients on oral health, coordinating with other health professionals, maintaining clinic sterilization and patient flow, and adhering to state laws and clinic protocols. Requires professional license in Indiana and prior dental hygiene experience; strong emphasis on documentation, infection control, and equal opportunity workplace values.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of dental hygiene.
- Unrestricted license to practice Oral Hygiene in the State of Indiana
- Satisfactory results from criminal and driving record background checks.
