Job Summary
Performs professional dental care including cleaning teeth and gums, examining patients for signs of disease, charting conditions, and providing dental health education. Responsibilities include scaling, applying preventive agents, evaluating digital images, and conducting community dental health clinics. Requires effective collaboration with management and training of dental assistants. Candidates must have a graduate degree in dental hygiene, relevant state licenses, BLS certification, and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
Required Qualifications
- Active State of New Jersey Hygienist license
- New Jersey radiological license for dental purposes
- BLS for providers through American Heart Association
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
- Graduate from an accredited school of dental hygiene
