Dental Hygienist

Dental Hygienist at Oakleaf Family Dentistry within Heartland Dental support network. You’ll be an integral member of the patient care team, delivering preventive dental hygiene care, patient education, and comprehensive clinical documentation. Responsibilities and skills include supporting hygiene care through patient screening and medical history documentation, utilizing tools such as Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and digital x-rays, and collaborating with a practice manager and on-site team. You’ll participate in our hygiene mentorship program, access continuing education and expansive resources, and contribute to high-quality patient care in a supported professional setting. TB testing is required prior to starting employment, and availability for virtual or in-person training periodically is noted. Minimum qualifications specify an active dental hygienist license (Florida) and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene, with CPR certification and alignment to Heartland Dental’s core values and patient-care focus.
