Job Summary
Deliver comprehensive preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health through daily screenings, medical history documentation, and clinical procedures. Utilize advanced tools including Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and electronic medical record systems to support patient needs. Maintain a Monday-Thursday schedule from 6:45 AM to 5:00 PM with no late nights or weekends. Complete required TB testing and attend periodic virtual or in-person training sessions. Join a collaborative 10-person team within a well-established practice serving families for over 30 years.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in WA
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
