Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including patient screening, medical history documentation, and preventative care maintenance. Utilize modern clinical tools such as Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and electronic medical record systems to deliver exceptional patient care. Provide patient education focused on oral health and overall dental maintenance while adhering to established clinical protocols. Work part-time Monday and Friday shifts with a supportive team environment and access to robust mentorship and continuing education resources. Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Pennsylvania
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
