Job Summary
Deliver preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health through clinical procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation. Utilize digital x-rays, electronic medical record systems, and diagnostic tools like Velscope and Diagnodent to support patient needs. Maintain a safe environment by completing required TB testing and adhering to physical demands including prolonged standing and lifting up to 45 pounds. Join a 13-person team at Montour Dental in McKees Rocks, PA, with access to mentorship, continuing education, and a supportive practice manager.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Pennsylvania
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
