Dental Hygienist -Mondays

Job Summary
Conduct patient screenings including oral health assessments, cancer checks, and vital signs monitoring. Remove calculus and plaque from teeth under supervision, apply preventive materials like sealants and fluorides, and take digital radiographs. Teach patients oral hygiene strategies and nutrition counseling, while providing chair-side assistance for periodontal procedures and complex treatments. Document dental histories, chief complaints, and lab results, and assist with emergency measures and patient admission/discharge processes. Perform office management activities and report pertinent observations to the dental team. Requires current Oklahoma dental hygiene license, CPR certification, and 1-3 years experience. Schedule is Mondays 8:00 am-5:00 pm.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene
- Current license as a dental hygienist in the state of Oklahoma
- Valid Healthcare provider CPR certification
- Clearance of background check and drug screen
- Clear, oral, and written communication
- Patience when assisting the population served
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
Desired Qualifications
- Administration of local anesthesia expanded function
- Administration of Nitrous Oxide expanded function
- 1-3 years' experience
- Knowledge of Eaglesoft software
