Job Summary
Perform licensed hygiene procedures, educate patients, and manage the nonsurgical periodontal program as directed by the dentist. Establish and maintain patient care relationships by verifying health history, documenting records, and performing clinical functions including diagnostic x-rays, blood pressure monitoring, prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, and co-assessing restorative treatments. Determine needs for sealant placement, Arestin, and fluoride treatments. Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, BLS, and infection control training. Requires current hygiene license and experience with dental software.
