Job Summary
Deliver comprehensive preventative dental care and maintenance to patients within a single-physician practice, utilizing digital x-rays, Velscope, and electronic medical record systems. Perform patient screenings, document medical histories, and execute clinical procedures as required by the office, while adhering to a Monday through Thursday schedule from 7:15 am to 4:30 pm. Maintain a safe environment by completing required TB testing and CPR certification, and attend periodic virtual or in-person training sessions. Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Georgia
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry
- Dental hygiene procedures
- Dental patient screening
- Medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
