Job Summary
Provide preventive dental hygiene care to patients as part of a team; conduct patient screenings and document medical history; utilize Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and digital x-rays; participate in a hygiene mentor program and ongoing education to enhance clinical skills; maintain up-to-date licensure and certifications; support patient education and overall dental health, with a focus on delivering high-quality lifelong care; must hold MN dental hygiene license and degree, CPR certification, and be able to fulfill physical requirements (e.g., lifting up to 45 pounds); TB testing is required prior to starting employment.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in MN
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene
- CPR Certification
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
