Job Summary
Dental Hygienist at Heartland Dental network to provide preventive dental care as an integral member of the patient care team; supervise and educate patients, perform dental hygiene procedures, document medical history, and utilize tools such as Velscope, Diagnodent, digital x-rays and EMR systems; role supports clinical autonomy with mentorship and ongoing professional development; required to hold a current dental hygiene license in Florida and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene; CPR Certification and TB pre-employment testing are standard requirements; opportunities span multiple states (CT, MD, NC, NV, WA) with strong non-clinical support from Heartland Dental.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in FL
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene
- CPR Certification
- Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems (preferred)
- Open to new grads
- TB test required for all new hires in dental office positions (pre-employment)
