Dental Hygienist

Prepare treatment rooms and patients for hygiene visits by adhering to protocols, welcoming individuals, and draping them. Perform comprehensive oral cancer screenings, radiographic studies, and periodontal probing to detect disease, while completing dental prophylaxis to remove deposits and stains. Arrest decay by applying fluorides and fabricate temporary restorations, clean removable appliances, and place amalgam restorations. Assist in managing dental emergencies, document services in the EMR, and educate patients on plaque control and post-operative care. Maintain instruments, select materials, and ensure strict HIPAA confidentiality. Requires a Georgia license, two years clinical experience, and current CPR certification.
