Job Summary
Provide exceptional lifetime care to patients as an integral member of the clinical team, utilizing Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and electronic medical record systems. Perform preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health while documenting medical history and screening. Participate in the robust Hygiene mentor program and attend virtual or in-person training sessions to enhance clinical skills. Complete a tuberculosis test prior to starting employment. Work Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 4 pm.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in OK
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test

- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
