Job Summary
Conduct daily patient care and preventative maintenance as a full-time dental hygienist from 7:30am to 5:00pm, Tuesday through Friday. Perform clinical duties including dental patient screening, medical history documentation, and overall maintenance of patients' dental health while utilizing diagnostic tools such as Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and electronic medical record systems. Maintain a safe environment by completing required tuberculosis testing and adhere to physical demands involving prolonged standing, sitting, and lifting up to 45 pounds. Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Oklahoma
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry
- Excellent working knowledge of dental hygiene procedures
- Excellent working knowledge of dental patient screening
- Excellent working knowledge of medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
