Dental Hygienist

Job Summary
Conduct daily dental hygiene procedures, including patient screening, medical history documentation, and preventative care maintenance. Utilize diagnostic tools such as Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and electronic medical record systems to deliver high-quality clinical care. Perform essential duties requiring prolonged periods of sitting and standing, with the ability to lift up to 45 pounds. Work Tuesday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with every other Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Complete a pre-employment tuberculosis test and attend periodic virtual or in-person training sessions. Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Oklahoma
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
