Dental Hygienist

Job Summary
Conduct 60-minute recall and 90-minute new patient appointments while utilizing Dentrix and advanced tools like Velscope, iTero, and digital scanners. Perform patient screening, medical history documentation, and preventative maintenance under the supervision of a single doctor. Complete bi-weekly pay cycles with optional daily pay and pursue continuing education opportunities through mentorship and virtual training. Maintain a full-time schedule of at least 30 hours, including morning huddles, while adhering to physical requirements for prolonged standing and lifting up to 45 pounds. Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Missouri
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test

- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
