Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including patient screening, medical history documentation, and preventative maintenance care. Utilize diagnostic tools such as Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and electronic medical record systems to deliver high-quality clinical services. Maintain patient records and adhere to strict safety protocols, including completing a required tuberculosis test prior to employment. Work flexible hours across Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Wednesday, and Friday shifts while collaborating with a 13-person team to support over 3,000 doctors across 39 states.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Georgia
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry
- Excellent working knowledge of dental hygiene procedures
- Excellent working knowledge of dental patient screening
- Excellent working knowledge of medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
