Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, patient screenings, and medical history documentation while utilizing Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, x-rays, and electronic medical record systems. Perform preventative care and overall maintenance for patients under the supervision of Dr. Schneider and Dr. Ange Tchouaga, supported by two experienced hygienists. Complete mandatory TB testing and virtual or in-person training sessions. Work Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings with a 30-minute lunch break, or part-time Thursday evenings. Maintain eligibility for the $5,000 welcome bonus and comprehensive benefits including health insurance, retirement savings, and six paid holidays. Join a collaborative 12-person team within Innovative Dentistry of Rockville, part of Heartland Dental's network of supported offices.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Maryland
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
