Job Summary
Dental Hygienist needed to perform routine dental hygiene procedures including cleanings, x-rays, fluoride treatments, and patient education. Maintain accurate patient records and medical histories; assist the dentist with procedures and ensure patient comfort; adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean, sterile environment; promote patient wellness through excellent care and communication. Ohio license required; at least 2 years of dental hygiene experience preferred; experience with x-rays, CAD software, and Dentrix or similar practice-management software; knowledge of HIPAA regulations and dental anatomy.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in Ohio
- At least 2 years of dental hygiene experience preferred
- Skilled in taking dental x-rays and using CAD software
- Familiar with Dentrix or other Dental Practice Management Software
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and aseptic technique
- Knowledge of medical terminology and dental anatomy
