Job Summary
Dental Hygienist role (Part-time with potential to move to full-time) providing patient care and preventive dentistry within Heartland Dental-supported offices. Deliver clinical hygiene services, patient education, and screening while maintaining medical history documentation. Utilize Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical records; adhere to CPR requirements and TB testing; collaborate with an on-site team and participate in hygiene mentorship and continuing education opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Ohio
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- CPR Certification
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry and dental hygiene procedures
- Experience with dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills
- Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays and EMR systems
