Dental Hygienist

Job Summary
Conduct patient care and comprehensive dental hygiene services in a 1-doctor practice, managing new patients and recare appointments with 90- and 60-minute slots respectively. Perform medical history documentation, screenings, and preventative maintenance while utilizing digital x-rays, electronic medical records, and diagnostic tools like Velscope and Diagnodent. Collaborate with a supportive team in a calm environment, adhering to a Monday–Thursday schedule with morning huddles and lunch breaks. Maintain active Pennsylvania licensure and CPR certification, completing required TB testing prior to employment.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania Dental Hygienist license
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
