Deliver comprehensive preventative dental care and patient maintenance to diverse communities, utilizing clinical skills for screenings, medical history documentation, and overall oral health management. Perform essential duties including prolonged periods of sitting and standing, lifting up to 45 pounds, and operating digital x-ray and electronic medical record systems. This part-time role requires a current Florida dental hygienist license, CPR certification, and a tuberculosis test, with availability for virtual training sessions. Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Florida
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- 1 years of clinical experience
- Experience using Velscope
- Experience using Diagnodent
- Experience using digital scanner
- Experience using digital x-rays
- Experience using electronic medical record systems
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
