Job Summary
Deliver preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health through clinical procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation. Utilize diagnostic tools including Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, x-rays, and electronic medical record systems to support the clinical team. Perform essential duties requiring prolonged periods of sitting and standing, with the ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds. Complete required TB testing prior to employment and attend virtual or in-person training sessions. Join a 15-person team within a supported professional corporation structure, working Monday through Thursday from 7:50 AM to 5:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Missouri
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test

- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
- Clinical needs as required by office
