Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including patient screening, medical history documentation, and preventative maintenance, while utilizing diagnostic tools like Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and x-rays. Collaborate with the clinical team to deliver exceptional patient care in a supportive, goal-oriented environment. Complete required TB testing prior to employment and attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically. Maintain clinical autonomy within the practice while adhering to office protocols and physical demands such as prolonged standing and lifting up to 45 pounds. Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Tennessee
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry
- Dental hygiene procedures
- Dental patient screening
- Medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
