Job Summary
Conduct dental hygiene procedures, patient screenings, and medical history documentation during Tuesday and Wednesday shifts from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring operatory clean-up is complete before closing. Utilize diagnostic tools such as Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and electronic medical record systems to deliver preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health. Maintain a safe environment by completing required tuberculosis testing and adhering to physical demands including prolonged sitting, standing, and lifting up to 45 pounds. Join a rebuilding office focused on collaboration and open communication within a supportive, team-oriented practice.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in South Carolina
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
