Job Summary
Deliver preventive dental care and patient screenings while documenting medical histories and performing clinical procedures. Utilize diagnostic tools such as Velscope, Diagnodent, and digital scanners to maintain comprehensive patient records. Provide ongoing clinical education and mentorship support to enhance patient outcomes and support career growth within the practice. Maintain physical readiness for prolonged standing, lifting up to 45 pounds, and attending virtual training sessions as needed. Complete required TB testing prior to employment start. Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in FL
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- 1 year experience
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test

- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
